It is a great pleasure and honor to host the 10th International Peptide Symposium (10th IPS), in conjunction with the 55th Japanese Peptide Symposium (55th JPS), on December 3 to 7, 2018, to be held in Kyoto, Japan. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Liaison Committee of International Peptide Societies, and hosted by the Japanese Peptide Society.
Since its inception, the IPS has provided wonderful scientific opportunities to a growing number of participants from around the world. Keeping in tradition, the 10th IPS will cover a wide spectrum of topics in peptide science, including discovery, synthesis, biological activity, relationship to physiology and pathology, and application to drugs and materials. Proceedings will include lectures from internationally distinguished speakers as well as oral and poster presentations.
With around a thousand years of history, Kyoto is among the most captivating and culturally rich cities in the world. It is an outstanding venue. In fact, the Japanese Peptide Society had the honor to host the first conference in Kyoto back in 1997, and again in 2010 for the 5th IPS. To date, this will be the third International Peptide Symposium hosted in this beautiful city.
We hope that you will join us at the 10th IPS to exchange current approaches and discoveries in peptide science while renewing old friendships and establishing new ones. This conference is sure to provide superb opportunities, especially for young scientists and students, to meet and interact with top scientists working in the field and expand their knowledge of peptide science.
We look forward to welcoming you at the 10th IPS in Kyoto.
