1. Oral Presentation (Main Hall/South Hall, ROHM Theatre Kyoto)

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The symposium schedule will be strictly observed. Right after the allotted time (including discussion), the next speaker's presentation will be displayed.

Note: Presentation slides will not be displayed on the screen during the discussion.


Preview

Please bring your laptop or USB flash memory at "Preview Desk" in the designated hall at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session.

Preparation of Presentation Data

Operating System & Software:

Windows 7 or later (PowerPoint 2010 or later)
Macintosh OS : OS 10.9 or later (PowerPoint 2011 or later)

*To avoid character corruption, please use standard fonts (Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier New, Georgia etc).
*Please prepare your presentation data with the slide resolution XGA (1,024 x 768).
*If your presentation data is linked to other files (i.e. still or moving images, graphs, etc.), those linked files should also be saved in the same folder. Check the links beforehand.

When using personal computer

*Ensure that your computer is equipped with the proper monitor connector (either HDMI or D-sub 15 pin) as shown below. If your computer does not have one of these connections, please bring an appropriate converter with you.
* Be sure to bring an AC adaptor. Please note that voltage in Japan is 100V and the frequency ranges 50-60 Hz depending on the area (60Hz in Kyoto). The socket is type A. If your laptop is not convertible, transformers and/or plug adapters are type A. If your laptop is not convertible, transformers and/or plug adapters are necessary.
*Please deactivate the screen-saver and power saving mode of your laptop.
*A display, a mouse, and a keyboard will be prepared on the podium.

Display Location & Panel Size

The last three (3) digit of presentation numbers will be posted on the upper left corner of each panel.
Panel dimension is 90 cm wide x 210 cm high.

NOTE: We highly recommend to attach a picture of the presenter on the upper right side of his/her respective poster to be easily identified for discussions.

Push Pins

Push pins will be prepared on the panel.
